Dr Derek Molloy is a Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University, Ireland. He is known for his expertise in embedded systems, object-oriented programming with embedded systems, and digital and analog electronics. Additionally, Dr. Molloy has authored several resources and guides related to embedded Linux systems and the Raspberry Pi/BeagleBone, including the book "Exploring Raspberry Pi: Interfacing to the Real World with Embedded Linux"

Please, update your examples regarding to GPIO in-kernel APIs. Even when you wrote the nice articles the GPIO descriptor based APIs were already in place in the kernel. Now it’s a constant flow of the dropping legacy GPIO APIs (not many left, by the way) and your code is rottening up to being not capable of compilation soon.
